Job Description
Clarence Recruitment are seeking an outstanding Mathematics Teacher for a high‑performing secondary school in Coventry to cover a maternity leave position from September 2026. The role is open to experienced teachers, ECTs/NQTs, and unqualified Mathematics teachers with strong subject knowledge. The school offers exceptional CPD and support, particularly for early career teachers, and provides leadership and TLR opportunities for experienced candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons across the secondary age range
- Plan, prepare, and assess lessons that drive strong pupil progress
- Maintain high expectations of behaviour and achievement
- Contribute positively to the success of the Mathematics department
- Support whole-school initiatives and enrichment where appropriate
Requirements
- Applications are welcomed from Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) teachers, ECTs/NQTs, and unqualified Mathematics teachers with relevant experience.
- Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics.
- Ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons.
