We are looking for an Activity Coordinator to join the NWAS team and play a key role in enhancing the wellbeing and recovery of our service users. This role is central to creating a positive Ward environment by planning, delivering and encouraging participation in a wide range of meaningful activities that reduce boredom and promote engagement.
You will work primarily alongside service users, supporting them through creative, therapeutic and recreational activities, while also becoming an integral member of the wider Ward Team, contributing to holistic, person ‑ centred care.

Qualifications and/or Knowledge
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in relevant subject area.
- Significant experience in a health care or education setting or experience in an CAMHS setting
- NVQ Level 4 or equivalent or willingness to undertake within 18 months in post
Experience
- Experience of working with individuals with mental health needs in a health or education setting.
- • Experience of working with young people between the ages of 12-18 with complex needs including Mental health, Learning Disability and Neurodevelopmental conditions.
Aptitude and Abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
