Overview
Leyton Sixth Form College offers a wide range of A level and vocational courses to approximately 2,300 full‑time 16–19‑year‑old students. Role
Science Technician – support our outstanding programme area, in particular Chemistry.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate the general maintenance and care of laboratories, ensuring the preparation and safe storage of equipment and materials.
- Monitor and order stock and provide administrative support for collating student work and inputting relevant data.
- Contribute to the development of Science IT initiatives and the College’s pastoral support programme.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- Previous experience working in a similar setting in a college or school (essential).
- Knowledge of health and safety requirements for laboratories.
