Senior / Principal Civil Technician
Location: Southwark, London
Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum
Full‑time | Hybrid Working (Min 2 days in the office per week)
An established and trusted civil engineering and transport planning consultancy in London is looking for a Senior / Principal Civil Technician to join their growing team. Responsibilities
- Deliver detailed technical drawings, specifications, and documentation for residential infrastructure projects
- Use Site 3D to support design and project delivery
- Contribute to the design of highways, drainage, and SuDS schemes
- Assist with adoption and long‑term maintenance submissions
- Mentor and guide junior technicians and support staff
- Work closely with engineers to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to high technical standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Civil Technician in residential infrastructure projects
- Strong skills in Site 3D
- Experience producing detailed design drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
- Understanding of highways, drainage, and SuDS design principles
- Ability to mentor junior staff and work independently
- A proactive approach to problem‑solving and project delivery
