Teaching Assistant – Woolwich
Job Overview:We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our partner school in Woolwich. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and supporting students in their learning journey.
Duties:– Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities– Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional help– Mentor and guide students in their academic and personal growth– Collaborate with teachers to create a positive and inclusive learning environment– Support students with special educational needs, including those with autism– Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents
Experience Required:– Experience working with children in an educational setting– Knowledge of special education practices and principles– Ability to educate and inspire students of diverse backgrounds– Strong communication and interpersonal skills– Patience, empathy, and understanding towards students’ needs
