Class 1 Night Driver – Container Work

Location: Tilbury. Monday to Friday night shifts. Start times between 5:00pm and 7:00pm.

The Role

As a Class 1 Night Driver, you will transport containers safely and efficiently to ports, depots, and customer locations, ensuring all transport regulations and company procedures are followed.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out container deliveries and collections
• Completing vehicle checks before and after shifts
• Ensuring all paperwork and port documentation is completed correctly
• Adhering to driver hours and road transport regulations
• Maintaining safe and professional driving standards
• Communicating effectively with the transport team and customers

Requirements

• Valid UK Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• Previous container experience preferred
• Valid port cards advantageous but not essential
• Good understanding of transport compliance and safety regulations
• Professional, reliable, and flexible attitude
