Organised by Chelmsford College. Position: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks of the year.

Overview

Deliver high‑quality teaching and learning to young people through AQA GCSE English Language and Pearson Functional Skills English courses. Join a welcoming team of specialists focused on unlocking potential and improving outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver lessons for AQA GCSE English Language and Pearson Functional Skills English from Entry Level to Level 1.
• Assess Functional Skills English where required.
• Collaborate with peers across both Chelmsford sites.

Qualifications and Experience

• Subject‑specific qualifications and up‑to‑date knowledge of English.
• Experience in planning and delivering high‑quality lessons.
• Experience assessing Functional Skills English is beneficial.
• Newly qualified or unqualified teachers may be considered.

Additional Requirements

• Enhanced DBS check required.
• Salary dependent on qualifications, skills and experience.
