Location:BirminghamType:Part-Time, PermanentPay:£12 per hourRole Overview:We are seeking compassionate and reliableMinibus Driversto transport vulnerable individuals, including those who are blind or disabled, to and from aday centreand supported living facilities. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive difference in your community.Key Responsibilities:
- Safely drive aminibusto transport individuals to and from the day centre.
- Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Follow scheduled routes and maintain punctuality for daily shifts:
- Morning Shift:7:00 AM – 9:00 AM
- Afternoon Shift:2:30 PM – 5:00/5:30 PM
- Perform vehicle safety checks before and after each shift.
- Build positive relationships with passengers, fostering a supportive and caring environment.
What We’re Looking For:
- Category D licence(essential).
- Experience driving minibuses or similar vehicles.
- Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and supporting vulnerable individuals.
