EMBS Engineering Ltd is working in partnership with a leading precision engineering manufacturer, located in Leicester, that is currently in the market for an NDT Quality Technician to join their company on a Permanent basis. This market leader is a well-established entity within the precision engineering industries and boasts a rich history of supporting globally recognised customers with safety-critical, highly complex components.

- Hours: Nights (Monday to Thursday 6 pm – 6 am)
Your responsibilities will include:
- Non-Destructive Testing (NDT): Conduct inspections using methods like Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI), Dye Penetrant Inspection (DPI), and visual inspection. This involves interpreting test results, generating work instructions, and preparing product reports to ensure products meet customer specifications.
- Inspection: Perform various types of inspections (e.g., first-off, receipt) using both CMM and manual methods. This includes running and maintaining CMM programs, analysing results, and making quality decisions. You will also complete First Article Inspection Report (FAIR) packs.
- Non-Conformance: Support the internal non-conformance process by raising rejects and managing containment measures.
Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate:
- Level 2 Qualification in NDT (DPI)
- Experience working with CMM and Manual measuring equipment
- Ability to work from Engineering Drawings and SOPs
- Proven experience working to standards such as ISO9001 and AS13100
