Overview
Our client based in Bicester is looking for a HGV Class 1 driver to join their team assisting customers with the safe transit of their goods to personal locations and businesses.
Role
You will work with a team of drivers and porters to ensure the safe transit of people’s personal items to various destinations.
Deal with customers face‑to‑face and over the telephone.
Perform safe manual handling of goods, on and off the vehicle.
Hours of work are generally from 9 each evening, depending on work required for the day. This is a temporary to permanent position and applicants should apply with this in mind.
Qualifications
- Class 1 Licence with a minimum of 2 years experience.
- Digital Tachograph card and CPC qualification.
- Self‑motivated team player.
- Good communication skills.
- Able to complete lifting of heavy materials.
- Successful applicants should be within a commutable distance of Thame.
