About us
At UCL, we’re proud to be one of the world’s leading universities – and we know that an exceptional student experience starts with feeling welcome, safe and supported. Our award-winning Accommodation Team manages over 26 halls, housing more than 6,500 residents in some of London’s most vibrant neighbourhoods. We’re now looking for a friendly, organised and proactive Assistant Accommodation Advisor to join our front-line team!
Be part of London’s Global University – and help our students feel at home.
About the role
You’ll be the welcoming face of UCL Accommodation, providing a first-class reception service to our students, visitors and contractors. From handling enquiries and resolving issues to supporting check-ins, check-outs, inspections and events, you’ll ensure our residents enjoy the very best experience.
Working as part of a supportive team, you’ll also play a key role behind the scenes – from managing bookings and payments in our StarRez system to liaising with contractors, reporting maintenance issues and helping coordinate social events. No two days will be the same, and you’ll have the chance to make a genuine difference in students’ lives.
Please note, this is a 12-months fixed term contract role and is offered full time onsite at our Bloomsbury Gold accommodation sites. The role will require an enhanced DBS check for the successful applicant.
Please note due to the nature of the role, you will be required to work shift patterns (8am to 4pm or 11am to 7pm) Monday to Friday. There will also be weekend shifts during term time on a Saturday (9am-5pm) on a rotational basis as well as shifts during the summer on both Saturdays and Sundays on a rotational basis.
This role does not meet the requirements for a Skilled Worker visa certificate of sponsorship under UK Visas and Immigration legislation. UCL will not be able to sponsor individuals who require a right to work in the UK.
