Overview

Role Overview: Driver Hire Lincoln is seeking experienced and reliable HGV Class 1 Drivers to support general haulage operations across the Nation.

Position: HGV Class 1 Driver

Location: Gainsborough

Recruiting Office: Driver Hire Lincoln

Employment Type: Temporary (ongoing and ad hoc work available)

Start Time: 06:00 daily

Pay

• £15.75 per hour for the first 8 hours
• £23.00 per hour for overtime (after 8 hours per shift)
• Weekly pay every Friday via PAY

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport goods to various destinations
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and maintain accurate records
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
• Follow all safety and operational procedures

Candidate Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) HGV licence
• CPC qualification and digital tachograph card
• General haulage experience preferred
• Strong safety awareness and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing schedules
