Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Salary: £10,077 – £10,235 (£13.65 per hour)
Hours: 17.5 Monday to Friday 12:00pm – 3:30pm
Location: Flyford Flavell Primary School
Contract: Fixed Term
Role Description
We are seeking to appoint a hardworking, enthusiastic, and well‑motivated Teaching Assistant to provide one‑to‑one SEND support, whilst also contributing to the wider learning and development of pupils in our Reception class.
Key Qualifications and Attributes
- Have high expectations of pupils’ achievement and behaviour
- Have vision, enthusiasm and a good sense of humour
- Possess good communication skills
- Be a team player with a positive outlook
- Be driven by the needs of our children
- Have an ability to work in partnership with pupils, parents, staff, and governors
Previous TA experience and/or relevant qualifications are desirable, but we are happy to provide training and support for the right candidate.
Disclosure Barring Service (DBS)This post is exempt under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of criminal records via the Disclosure and Barring Service before the appointment is confirmed.
