What you’ll be doing
You’ll operate modern specialised catering trucks in Glasgow Airport’s secure airside environment. Your role involves transporting and loading catering uplifts onto different aircraft types, from small business jets to commercial airliners.
- Driving HGV 15-18 tonne company vehicles in secure airside areas
- Carrying out vehicle checks prior to use
- Loading and unloading catering uplifts to aircraft
- Working with flight crews and ground handling suppliers
- Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and tidiness
- Following Road Traffic Acts and Airport By‑laws
- Bar and stores packing, search and sealing duties
- Additional warehouse duties as required
What you’ll bring
- Valid clean HGV CAT C Driving Licence (up to 3 points considered)
- Digital Tachograph knowledge and card
- Airport Airside Driving experience advantageous
- Knowledge of Road Traffic Act
