Shunter Driver – 22:00 to 06:00 – HGV Class 1 (C+E)

We are seeking a reliable HGV Class 1 driver for yard shunting at a busy agricultural bulk transport site in Whittlesey.

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, 22:00 – 06:00.

Responsibilities

• Shunting trailers on-site using a tug, following customer requirements.
• Carrying out vehicle checks, reporting defects, and adhering to health & safety procedures.
• Providing professional customer service and maintaining a courteous attitude.
• Performing physical tasks such as coupling/uncoupling units, loading/unloading, climbing trailers, and handling bulker sheets.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a Category C+E HGV licence; a clean licence preferred.
• Experience in shunting and driving a goods vehicle is desirable; full training provided.
• Experience in the agricultural sector is advantageous.
