Astute’s Team is collaborating with a prominent service company to fill an Electrical Field Service Technician role primarily for sites in Essex and the South East. The role offers a competitive salary of up to £40,000 per annum and an opportunity to join an organization that values integrity and its people.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and overhaul motors, control panels, actuators, transformers, conveyors, and generators.
• Prepare and maintain accurate maintenance reports and logs within defined budgets.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety and legal requirements.
• Represent the company professionally while serving on a call‑out rota and responding to reactive maintenance call‑outs.
• Assist in outage planning and scheduling coordination, supporting quality assurance processes.

Qualifications

• Time Served Apprenticeship in an Electrical Engineering discipline.
• CompEx qualification is highly desirable.
• Experience in electrical testing, installation, and fault finding.
• Background in a heavy process environment such as power stations, refineries, chemical plants, or paper mills.
• Full UK driving licence.
