Nanny House Manager for twin boys, Forest of Dean

Responsibilities

• Drive the boys to and from their private school (a 30‑minute journey) on the days they attend.
• Maintain the household while the children are at school: laundry, meal preparation, errands, animal care and resetting the home for the post‑school routine.
• Communicate regularly with the parents, sharing professional updates on the children’s learning and development at the end of each day.
• Collaborate with the boys’ grandparents, respecting their role and allowing parents to remain involved.
• Be flexible to support occasional family travel, with advance notice and the option to travel with the family.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a nanny.
• Valid driver’s license; own car preferable (driving required).
• Up‑to‑date enhanced DBS certificate.
• 12‑hour paediatric first aid certificate.
• At least two professional referees, including one current or former employer, with contact details available to recruiters.

Job Details

Location: Mitcheldean, Forest of Dean

Days required: Monday – Friday (minimum Wednesday, Thursday and Friday)

Hours of work: 7:30 am – 5:30 pm

Age of children: 6‑year‑old twin boys

Live‑in accommodation: Separate flat adjacent to the family home with own bedroom, bathroom, living room and balcony.

Pets: 2 dogs

Driving required: Yes – own car preferable on duty

Job start date: ASAP

Pay:

• Live‑in 50‑hour week: £35,000 gross per annum
• Live‑out 30‑hour week: £31,200 gross per annum

Permanent position.
