Class 2 Driver (Roll-On Roll-Off/Skip Truck)

Job Title: Class 2 Driver (Roll-On Roll-Off/Skip Truck)

Location: Somerton

Salary: £16.00 – £16.50 per hour

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, start times between 6:00 am – 7:30 am

Key Responsibilities

• Operating Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently
• Collection and delivery of waste using Roll‑On Roll‑Off or Skip Truck vehicles
• Conducting daily vehicle checks and ensuring roadworthiness
• Completing all relevant paperwork and adhering to compliance regulations
• Providing excellent customer service when interacting with clients

Requirements

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Good understanding of driving laws and regulations
• Strong work ethic and reliability

Desirable (but not essential)

• Previous experience operating Roll‑On Roll‑Off or Skip Truck vehicles
• Training will be provided for the right candidate
