HGV Class 2 Tanker Driver – Scunthorpe

Full-Time | Ongoing Water Utility Contract

Looking for a role where no two days are the same?

The Role

You’ll be operating specialist vacuum tankers and supporting essential frontline utility works across major water utility sites.

• Responding to emergency call-outs involving flooding, sewer blockages, pollution incidents, and drainage issues
• Carrying out the safe collection, transportation, and disposal of liquid waste
• Completing daily vehicle inspections and compliance paperwork
• Working in line with strict health, safety, and environmental procedures
• Supporting operational teams across a range of utility projects

This is a hands‑on role offering variety, responsibility, and ongoing development opportunities.

What We’re Looking For

• Valid HGV Class 2 Licence (Class 1 advantageous)
• Valid Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 penalty points
• Previous utilities or water industry experience essential
• Tanker or jetting experience advantageous
• Strong understanding of health & safety procedures
• Flexible approach to nights, weekends, and emergency call-outs
• Reliable, professional, and willing to learn new skills

• Confined Space
• Streetworks / NRSWA
• First Aid
• Manual Handling
• High-Pressure Water Jetting experience
