The Hotel Folk are currently looking for an experiencedPastry Chefto join their friendly kitchen team at their award-winning AA-rosettedSwan at Lavenham Hotel and Spa
Main responsibilities
- Preparing specific food items and meal components at your station such as Afternoon Teas, Specialty Cakes, Signature Afternoon Teas
- Following directions provided by the head chef.
- Collaborating with the rest of the culinary team to ensure high-quality food and service.
- Keeping your area of the kitchen safe and sanitary.
- Stocktaking and ordering supplies for your station.
- Supervising all pastry service throughout the property.
- Ensuring standards of cuisine and hygiene are maintained.
- Standardizing and communicating pastry and bakery recipes to personnel.
- Preparing breads and pastries, including doughs, fillings, proofing, baking, and decorating.
- Reviewing production sheets to understand the variety of baked goods to be produced daily.
