Pastoral Tutor (Temporary)

Location: Southeast London. Pay: 20 pounds per hour. Contract: Temporary – Ongoing. Industry: Education.

Provide pastoral support to students, ensuring their welfare and well-being are prioritised.

• Monitor student attendance, punctuality, and progress, addressing concerns promptly.
• Conduct one-to-one tutorials and group sessions to support personal development, study skills, and employability.
• Work closely with curriculum staff and support teams to ensure students receive the help they need.
• Promote positive behaviour and engagement in college life.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of student progress and interventions.
• Support the college’s safeguarding and equality policies.
• Help students set and review academic and personal targets.
• Refer students to specialist services where appropriate (e.g., counselling, learning support, careers advice).
