About the Role
As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons that develop students’ understanding of key mathematical concepts. You will support learners of varying abilities, ensuring they are challenged, engaged and progressing in line with curriculum expectations.
Responsibilities
- Deliver Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Plan and adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Track and assess student progress
- Create a positive and focused learning environment
- Support students in developing confidence in Maths
- Work collaboratively with departmental staff when required
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (desirable)
- Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
- Experience teaching in secondary school settings
- Effective classroom and behaviour management skillsConfident, organised and professional approach
- Ability to engage and motivate learners of all abilities
