In the heart of Croydon, an ‘Outstanding’ Secondary School is looking for a Design Technology (DT) Teacher / Design Technology (DT) ECT for a September 2026 start. This is a permanent, full‑time position.

Job Description

• Inspire and motivate the younger generation
• Work alongside a team of experienced DT teachers
• Opportunity for TLR roles such as KS3 Coordinator and pastoral responsibilities
• ECTs welcomed: 1:1 mentor, bespoke induction, in‑house and out‑of‑house training and more
• Full time & permanent, starting September 2026
• Salary: MPS1‑UPS3 – £39,571‑£62,135 + TLR (size depending on experience)
• Location: Borough of Croydon

Person Specification

• Must have UK QTS or be in the process of gaining it
• Strong academic background: degree, A Levels and GCSEs
• Meeting the 8 Teaching Standards to a ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ level
• Ability to work as part of a large team of DT teachers
• Willingness to listen to feedback
