Region NCE > Service Offshore NCE > Aberdeen Bay Technicians
The Aberdeen & Kincardine service team is responsible for the service and maintenance of 16 x V164 Wind Turbine Generator turbines located in Aberdeen, North East Scotland, utilising the CTV (Crew Transfer Vessel) on a 2 on 2 off rotation. The department has an open and informal culture, where teamwork and good communication is the key to our success. You will have the opportunity to work in an exciting industry and in a team of highly motivated employees.
Responsibilities
- Split time between WTG service and troubleshooting offshore and general support to the Supervisor depending on site activities
- Electrical and mechanical operations
- Maintain and upgrade installation activities
- Plan service tasks on a daily basis
- Approve hours of technicians
- Plan statutory task with the customer
- Provide technical support for troubleshooting in turbines
Qualifications
- Completed electrical or mechanical degree from a technical school/college/university
- Professional offshore experience (electrical or mechanical)
- High voltage knowledge and switching experience is an advantage
- Fluent English skills
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Driving license category B
