Aqua Aerobics Instructor

We’re looking for confident customer-focused Aqua Aerobic Instructors. You must be passionate about the mental and physical benefits of this low-impact, full-body workout for all ages and fitness levels.

Based at our Hilsea site, you will run engaging Aqua Aerobic classes in an open-water setting. Experience running open-water Aqua Aerobic and a passion for health and wellbeing are required.

Drive Safety and Customer Satisfaction

• Ensure classes are safe and inviting for all users.
• Encourage repeat visitor usage by providing excellent customer interaction.
• Engage with all customers, whether new or experienced.
• Create an environment where customers feel comfortable asking for advice.

Be the Voice of South Downs Leisure

• Deliver a friendly, motivating customer experience and make every conversation count.
• Create a fun and active environment so all users feel comfortable and engaged during the class.
• Build real relationships that lead to long-term happy members.

Support the Team and Community

• Work closely with colleagues across the business to ensure a smooth customer journey.
• Share ideas to grow participation and develop the Aqua Aerobics programme.
• Be ready to get involved at outreach events and in community networking.

Your Experience

• Aqua Aerobic Instructor Qualification.
• Previous open-water Aqua Aerobic instructing.
• Confident with interacting with customers in both friendly and assertive situations.
• Health and safety understanding.

Your Approach

• Welcoming and approachable.
• Positive, and confident in your abilities.
• A team player who supports others.
• Independent and able to stay motivated when working alone.
