Scroll down to find the complete details of the job offer, including experience required and associated duties and tasks.Leicester (Onsite)£50,000-55,000We are working with a global technology-led organisation delivering advanced monitoring and security solutions, seeking an experienced RF Design Engineer to join their growing engineering team.This is a high-impact product development role , where you will play a key part in designing and developing RF-based embedded hardware , with a particular focus on low-power wireless and GPS technologies .The RoleYou’ll be responsible for the design, development and testing of RF electronics across both existing products and next-generation solutions.Key responsibilities include:Designing and developing RF embedded hardware for wireless devicesWorking across the full lifecycle: concept ? design ? test ? approvalDeveloping solutions focused on low-power, microcontroller-driven systemsSupporting RF testing, simulation, and performance optimisationCollaborating with firmware, production and wider engineering teamsEnsuring designs meet regulatory and approval requirementsSupporting manufacturing, testing and product releaseThis is a technically demanding role – strong RF experience is essential. xcswzye Must-have:Proven experience in RF electronics design in a commercial environmentStrong knowledge of low-power wireless systems and/or GPS technologies (critical – key gap in previous candidates)Experience with embedded systems and microcontrollersSolid understanding of RF simulation, testing and validationExperience with PCB design tools (Altium preferred)Strong fundamentals across electronics and hardware engineeringNice to have:Embedded C / firmware exposureExperience in high-volume product developmentFamiliarity with regulatory/type approval processesPlease note:Candidates must have hands-on RF design experience (not just theoretical)GPS and/or wireless communication expertise will be a key differentiatorDue to the nature of the work, candidates must meet UK residency requirementsActive SC Clearance is required (or eligibility to obtain it)If you are interested in the role and meet the requirements outlined, please apply using the link provided….
