Project Engineer Havant | 12-Month Contract | Inside IR35 | £3848 per hour

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Engineer to join a leading engineering and technology environment supporting the delivery of internal infrastructure and facilities-related projects across multiple UK sites.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically minded and organised engineer who enjoys managing projects from concept through to completion within a fast-paced and highly regulated environment.
The Role
As Project Engineer, you will support the planning, coordination, and delivery of a variety of engineering and facilities projects covering electrical, mechanical, and civil works.
Working closely with internal stakeholders, contractors, procurement teams, and operational departments, you will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to specification.
Responsibilities will include: Developing project scopes and technical requirementsProducing project plans and schedulesSupporting tender and procurement activitiesReviewing contractor quotations and technical submissionsManaging RAMS and contractor documentationMonitoring project progress and onsite activitiesCoordinating stakeholders throughout the project lifecycleSupporting final handover and project sign-offEnsuring compliance with health & safety and building regulationsWhat Were Looking For: Previous experience within Project Engineering or Project ManagementExperience delivering engineering, facilities, infrastructure, or building services projectsGood understanding of project delivery methodologiesAbility to manage contractors and multiple stakeholdersKnowledge of health & safety requirements and building regulationsProficient with Microsoft Project and Microsoft OfficeExperience using AutoCAD or similar CAD software is desirableNEBOSH qualification preferredPrince2 qualification or equivalent project management experience desirableAdditional Information 12-month contractInside IR35£3848 per hour37.5 hours per week9-day fortnight working patternEvery other Friday offOvertime availableOccasional travel to additional UK sites as requiredSecurity Clearance Requirement
