The successful candidate will have previous surveying experience, strong knowledge of SOR (Schedule of Rates) codes, and ideally come from a roofing background.You will be responsible for carrying out detailed site surveys, diagnosing roofing issues, preparing specifications of work, and ensuring repairs and projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard.Key Responsibilities Conduct roofing inspections and site surveys across residential and commercial propertiesIdentify roofing defects, causes of leaks, and required remedial worksPrepare detailed survey reports, quotations, and scopes of workAccurately raise works using SOR codes and pricing schedulesLiaise with clients, tenants, contractors, and internal teamsEnsure all works comply with health & safety regulations and industry standardsMonitor ongoing roofing works and provide technical support where requiredAttend client meetings and site visits as necessaryRequirements Previous experience as a Surveyor within construction, maintenance, or roofingStrong understanding and working knowledge of SOR codesRoofing background highly desirableAbility to identify roofing defects and recommend appropriate solutionsGood knowledge of flat and pitched roofing systemsStrong communication and report-writing xcswzye skillsFull UK driving licence preferredAbility to work independently and manage workload effectivelyDesirable Qualifications NVQ or relevant qualification in Roofing, Construction, or SurveyingSMSTS / SSSTSAsbestos AwarenessExperience working within social housing or reactive maintenance sectorsWhat We Offer Competitive salaryCompany vehicle or vehicle allowanceOpportunities for progression and developmentSupportive working environmentPension and holiday entitlement…
