Delivery Driver – Wellingborough (Job Ref: 11676)
We are looking to recruit a Zero Hour Prescription Delivery Driver to work on a permanent contract at our 731 branch at Mannock Medical Centre, Irthlingborough Road, Wellingborough, NN8 1LT. Branch opening hours: Monday to Friday 09:00 to 18:30. The role requires flexibility within these times, excellent people skills, and a professional service standard to customers and Pharmacy Teams.
Reimbursement for mileage: 42p per mile up to 10,000 miles; after that 25p per mile (HMRC guidelines). Fuel receipts required for each visit; mileage claim submitted weekly.
Responsibility: Deliver prescription items to private houses, nursing, and residential homes promptly and conscientiously, maintaining high customer service standards and representing the Cohens brand. Must work under pressure to meet designated delivery times.
Qualifications: Basic computer skills to plan and print daily routes in branch before deliveries. Must bring own vehicle; personal insurance must allow business use. Company will contribute to business insurance premium upon proof of increased premium.
Other responsibilities: May assist with PR exercises to increase business.
