The Role – Service EngineerWorking within the service team, you will be involved in a wide range of workshop engineering and repair activities, including:Stripping, inspecting, repairing and rebuilding mechanical components and systemsFault-finding and carrying out repairs on customer equipmentFunctional testing of serviced and repaired equipmentPreparing hire equipment and carrying out checks before dispatchCompleting inspection reports and service paperwork accuratelyMaintaining workshop standards, tools, stock and test equipmentSkills & Experience- Service EngineerA mechanical engineering or workshop backgroundStrong fault-finding and hands-on mechanical repair experienceExperience working within a service, maintenance or repair environmentGood communication and report-writing skillsA practical, team-focused approach with good attention to detailHydraulics or fluid power experience would be an advantage
