We are looking for a committed caretaker to join our school site team, working 36 hours a week, Monday to Friday year‑round, including opening and closing the school each day and assisting with lettings and ad‑hoc events. The role requires flexibility outside the standard shift pattern to meet security, health and safety emergencies.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure premises and grounds are safe, warm, clean and properly maintained.
- Move heavy goods, take delivery and distribute supplies, and move furniture and equipment.
- Promote and protect safeguarding of all pupils, staff and visitors to the site and premises.

Requirements
- Enhanced DBS certificate required on provisional offer.
- Ability to carry out health and safety checks and work safely with heavy items.
