Construction Litigation – 6+ PQE – Central London

Our Client, a very well established, well regarded, full-service law firm, is looking to add to its numbers with the appointment of a senior-level construction litigator.

The Client

Based in Central London, the firm provide a full spectrum of legal services with clients ranging from some of the world’s largest multinational corporations to private individuals. They also act for a significant number of charities, Registered Providers and Regulators. Almost 200 years of history has shaped our Client to one of the UK’s leading full-service law firms.

The Team

The Construction team is comprised of several Partners and is divided into two sub-teams dealing with both contentious and non-contentious construction work, the majority being in disputes.

Clients include developers, major corporations, funders, contractors, sub-contractors, construction consultants, local authorities, registered providers of social housing and PFI consortia. Much of the work is high profile and this is an opportunity for an individual with a passion for construction law to join a top tier team based in the City.

The Candidate

We are looking for an ambitious construction solicitor who is prepared to go the extra mile, to hit the ground running and make their mark within a thriving construction department. Our client envisages that the correct PQE for this opportunity will be a minimum of 6 years with the majority of experience gained in contentious construction but with exposure to some non-contentious matters too. In addition, you will be self-motivated and have enthusiasm for business development and building your practice and the business as a whole.
