As a Swimming Teacher, you will help to inspire others, deliver excellent class programming and instruction, and engage with customers and students with enthusiasm and expertise.
All swimmer development stages are based on the National Plan for Teaching Swimming. The role requires a minimum of UKCC Level 2. It is advantageous to hold a Lifesaving Qualification (NPLQ or NRASTC) but we will support you if you are motivated and driven to achieve either qualification.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Passionate about helping people of all ages learn to swim or become stronger, faster, or more confident.
- Work with customers in groups and on a one‑to‑one basis to motivate and instruct them during lessons.
- Friendly, approachable, and patient – building trust with students.
- Support students to achieve their potential, using industry best practice and effective teaching skills.
- Seek out development opportunities and ideas to further improve the service we provide.
