Job Description
Are you interested in construction materials testing at site and laboratory level? This could be your opportunity to excel as a Senior Field Technician, playing a vital role in supporting SOCOTEC’s continued success.
We are seeking a proactive, reliable, and flexible Senior Field Technician to join our Infrastructure team. In this role, you’ll need the confidence to work independently, alongside the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team. A background in site and laboratory testing of construction materials, along with knowledge of UKAS accredited laboratory practices, is essential.
The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):
- Sampling and testing of concrete, soils, aggregates and bituminous mixtures
- Accurate and timely completion of test sheets, including all calculations
- Training and upskilling colleagues as required
Qualifications
- Significant experience of site and laboratory materials testing
- Strong communication skills with a health & safety focused approach
- Full UK driving licence
- CSCS card desirable but we can facilitate this for you
