Location: Salisbury
Hours: Night Shifts – 5pm to 1am (37.5 hrs pw)
Postcode area: SP (live in or very close to the SP postcode area)
Responsibilities
As a Field Officer, you will visit individuals in their homes to install tagging equipment. You may work alone or with a Monitoring Support Officer. You will build rapport with individuals, reassure them of their safety and that of the public, and contribute to reducing pressure on the prison system by helping ex-prisoners re-integrate into the community. The role is varied and requires flexibility to accommodate a rolling rota that includes weekends and bank holidays.
You will:
- Install tagging equipment at individuals’ homes
- Work independently or with a colleague
- Help individuals understand and engage with the justice system
- Support public safety and community reintegration efforts
Qualifications and Requirements
- Current valid UK driver’s license
- Reasonably fit with good written and verbal communication skills
- BPSS and Standard DBS clearance (identity verification, employment checks, and Standard DBS check covering convictions, cautions, reprimands, and warnings)
- Occupational Health questionnaire completed to support wellbeing and duties
