Reeson Education is seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Primary Teachers to work on a supply basis across primary schools in the Manchester area. This is an excellent opportunity for a Primary Teacher looking for flexible work, varied experiences, and the chance to teach across different year groups and school settings.
As a Primary Teacher, you will step into classrooms to deliver engaging lessons, maintain continuity of learning, and provide a positive and supportive environment for pupils. Supply work is ideal for a Primary Teacher seeking work-life balance, experience across schools, or a pathway into longer-term roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver pre‑planned lessons confidently.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Support pupils’ academic and emotional needs throughout the school day.
- Adapt quickly to new settings and routines.
- Work collaboratively with school staff and follow school policies.
- Ensure safeguarding procedures are always followed.
- Provide feedback to schools at the end of the day as required.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience working as a Primary Teacher in UK primary schools.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Confident, reliable, and flexible approach to supply teaching.
- Ability to teach across EYFS, KS1, or KS2.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
