Delivery Driver – Immediate Start

We are recruiting Delivery Drivers for a manufacturer expanding its workforce. This is a customer‑facing role, delivering goods of various shapes and sizes nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely load, transport and deliver large goods to customers
• Carry out pre‑delivery vehicle checks for safety and compliance
• Communicate with customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Complete delivery paperwork and report any issues promptly
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and roadworthiness

Requirements

• 21 years of age or older (insurance requirement)
• Own suitable transport for access to the site on the outskirts of Newark‑on‑Trent
• Valid UK driving licence with no more than 3 penalty points
• Experience driving large vehicles and handling oversized loads (up to 3.5 T)
• Good understanding of load securing and manual‑handling techniques
• Strong customer‑service skills – approachable, polite, solution‑focused
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to travel nationwide, including occasional overnight stays

Working Hours & Pay

Days are flexible, with average shift lengths of 10‑11 hours. Start times are between 04:00‑06:00. Pay is £150 per day with an existing bonus scheme.

Full training is provided.
