Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday (08:30 – 17:00)

Salary: Up to £14.51 per hour (approx £30k per annum), dependant on experience.

About the role

You’ll play a key part in the day‑to‑day operation of our site, ensuring our facilities, yard areas and building infrastructure meet high standards. From planned preventative maintenance (PPM) checks to repairs and compliance activities, your work will support a safe, efficient and professional environment for our teams.

This role also offers the chance to share your expertise, contribute to technical problem-solving, and champion continuous improvement in how we operate.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Carrying out daily PPM checks and logging operational data
  • Maintaining facilities, yard areas and building infrastructure
  • Completing repairs efficiently to minimise disruption
  • Supporting site safety by following all EHS procedures
  • Working with teams across operations, maintenance and purchasing
  • Monitoring site presentation and ensuring compliance standards are upheld
  • Managing waste streams in line with processes

Who we’re looking for:

  • Skills in basic plumbing, carpentry, decorating and building work
  • Experience in a mid to high‑volume manufacturing environment
  • Ability to collate and interpret data
  • Understanding of foundry processes
  • Good knowledge of health and safety procedures
  • Experience working within a technical team
  • Ability to travel to site.
