Job Description

Ibis London Canning Town – Maintenance Team plays a crucial role in ensuring the hotel runs smoothly and remains in top condition. If you’re a hands‑on problem solver with an eye for detail, we’d love to have you on board!

What You’ll Be Doing

• Conduct daily inspections to identify and resolve maintenance issues.
• Perform routine repairs on electrical, plumbing, heating, and cooling systems.
• Ensure all guest rooms and public areas are well‑maintained and in excellent condition.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff.
• Assist in preventative maintenance tasks to minimize breakdowns.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and safety checks.
• Comply with health and safety regulations to ensure a secure environment for guests and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Hands‑on experience with maintenance tools and equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently.
• Basic IT knowledge for maintenance record‑keeping.
