Senior Software Engineer

Up to £75,000 per annum plus bonus.

VIQU is working with an international organisation in Milton Keynes who are hiring multiple senior software engineers to help build one of their product lines.

This role will focus on shaping architectural decisions, hands‑on coding, and mentoring other software engineers. The key technology stack spans C#, React, Node.js and AWS.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop web interfaces, server side components and integrations, whilst contributing to architecture reviews.
• Mentor junior engineers, provide code reviews and promote development best practices.
• Work with product and project teams to ensure solutions are delivered within set quality and timeframes.
• Contribute to enhancing team efficiency by exploring AI assisted development technologies.

Qualifications

• Hands‑on experience with C#, Node.js, and React.
• Experience with AWS, event‑driven and microservices architecture.
• Experience utilising AI coding tools to enhance efficiency.
• Experience within a Scaled Agile Framework environment, helping to lead sprint planning and daily stand‑ups.
• Previously led and mentored junior engineers.
• Experience within a SaaS organisation, focusing on product development would be nice to have.
