Overview

Role Summary: Working alongside the Head Chef, you will support delivering high-quality, creative dishes across our event menus, ensuring consistency, presentation excellence and team development.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in menu development and seasonal dish creation.
  • Oversee preparation, plating and cooking during service with high standards.
  • Manage junior chefs, ensuring training, consistency and efficiency.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene, organisation and cleanliness.
  • Support stock management and cost control.

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in events or large scale catering.
  • Creative culinary skills and excellent palate.
  • Leadership skills, with ability to manage teams in hectic event environments.
  • A clean driving licence is essential.
  • Strong working knowledge of health & safety and food hygiene legislation.
