Role Overview

As a Business Risk Services Business Development Director within our team practice, you will:

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic business development plans to drive growth in our Business Risk Services offering
• Identify, establish and pursue opportunities, partnerships and client relationships with potential clients, nurturing leads and opportunities across risk consulting, programme assurance, tech, data and AI
• Engage prospective clients through effective communication and presentations to showcase our services and value proposition
• Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders and industry influencers to enhance our market presence
• Represent our firm at industry events, conferences and networking opportunities to build strategic partnerships and alliances
• Prepare regular reports and presentations summarising business development activities, progress and outcomes

Qualifications

• Practice experience and experience of driving opportunities and lead nurturing across the risk consultancy space
• Experience with FTSE 250 companies and a proven network
• A thorough understanding and a proven track record of lead generation, sales and identifying cold targets
• Strong understanding of market dynamics, industry trends, and competitive landscapes
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams and manage multiple priorities
• Ability to break down silos and barriers
• Self‑motivated and results‑oriented
