SEN Teacher: Complex Needs & ASD, Lead TA Team

SEN Teacher – Mainstream School

5 to 10 year olds.

Complex Needs, EHCP, ASD.

Long term, ongoing until July 2027.

Salary: PAYE or Umbrella daily rate.

Responsibilities

• Cover two classes totaling ten students with EHCPs.
• Lead a team of teaching assistants.
• Support students with complex needs and ASD who are predominantly pre‑verbal.
• Work closely with external professionals and the HLTA.
• Engage with the school’s SEND strategy.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience with SEND, complex needs, and ASD preferred.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Passed Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service.
• Referees provided on application.
