Science Technician – Ealing
Tradewind Recruitment are currently working with a high-achieving and inclusive secondary school in Ealing who are seeking a dependable Science Technician to join their team for a September 2026 start. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a well-supported science department where students are encouraged to develop confidence through practical learning.

The Role
You will provide practical support to the science department by preparing laboratory resources, assisting with experiments, and helping maintain a safe and organised working environment. This is a full-time role working 5 days per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and organising equipment and materials for science lessons
- Supporting teachers with practical experiments and demonstrations
- Maintaining laboratory equipment and ensuring workspaces remain tidy
- Monitoring and replenishing stock levels where required
- Assisting with laboratory health and safety procedures
- Supporting students during practical science activities
Requirements
- Previous UK-based school experience is essential and candidates without this will not be considered
- Experience within a science department or laboratory environment
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- A professional and proactive attitude
- A genuine passion for supporting science education
