What you’ll do

As a Chef de Partie, you’ll love what you do and take pride in taking care of our guests:

You will be responsible for creating delectable dishes for our Wolfgang Puck restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You will be entrusted with supervising the cooking personnel in your section, while also having the opportunity to participate in menu planning and to maintain budgeted food and recipe costs, all to ensure our guests receive nothing but the best experience.

Sometimes our guests have special requests involving dietary requirements, off‑menu requests, and even special occasions. Most of these requests are fulfilled by our Chef de Partie.

What you’ll bring

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Basic Culinary Knowledge: Ability to cook a range of dishes using various techniques (e.g., grilling, roasting, frying).
  • Food Safety: Knowledge of food safety regulations (HACCP) and commitment to maintaining hygiene standards.
  • Time Management: Able to complete cooking tasks within the given timeframe during service.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to follow recipes and portion control consistently.
  • Communication: Able to communicate clearly with the head chef and kitchen team (verbally or written, whichever is preferred).
  • Physical Endurance: Able to stand for long hours and work in a fast‑paced kitchen environment.
  • Adaptability: Able to switch between tasks quickly and adapt to kitchen demands during busy periods.
  • Knife Skills: Competence in using kitchen knives for chopping, slicing, and preparing ingredients safely.

Preferred Skills

  • Flexibility with Work Hours: Willing to work on shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Experience with Dietary Restrictions: Familiarity with preparing dishes that cater to various dietary needs (e.g., gluten‑free, vegan).
