Responsibilities
- Have previous teaching/lecturing experience
- Establish a warm, caring, and supportive relationship with the pupils
- Manage challenging behaviour effectively
- Have effective verbal and written communication
- Support the use of support staff relevant to the class
- Contribute to the provision of a safe, secure learning environment
- Address SEN/SEMH needs
- Apply strong behaviour management techniques
Contract Details
- Location: Leeds
- Position: Special Needs Teacher
- Start date: 6th October
- Duration: Long‑term contract (temp‑perm)
- Hours: 8:30 – 15:30 (full‑time)
- Rate of Pay: £140 – £220 per day (dependent on experience)
