The Governors of Hazelbury Bryan Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our thriving preschool, Barn Owls. Role Overview
Contract Type: Fixed Term until 20/07/29
Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 08:30-15:30
Working Weeks: Term-time only, 38 weeks per year (plus inset days as required)
Location: Hazelbury Bryan Primary School, Sturminster Newton, Dorset
Grade 5 SCP 5
Key Responsibilities
- Support the learning and personal development of preschool-aged children.
- Foster a stimulating environment both indoors and outdoors where children feel safe and eager to learn.
- Assist in monitoring and recording pupil progress to ensure every child “shines bright”.
- Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and governors to uphold our core values of compassion, courage, resilience, and responsibility.
