Non-Contentious Construction Solicitor (2+ years’ PQE) – Edinburgh
Leading international law firm is now seeking a Non-Contentious Construction Solicitor (2+ PQE) to join its expanding team in Edinburgh. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high‑profile construction, energy and infrastructure projects, advising developers, contractors, public bodies and multinational organisations. The role offers exposure to complex transactional construction work within a collaborative national and international team.
Role
Responsibilities:
- Advise on non-contentious construction and engineering matters across major projects.
- Draft and negotiate contracts including NEC, JCT and FIDIC.
- Support clients across the energy, infrastructure and built environment sectors.
- Work closely with colleagues across the wider UK team and support junior members of the team.
About You
Qualifications and Skills:
- Have 2+ years’ PQE in non-contentious construction law.
- Have experience across a broad range of construction and engineering matters.
- Are confident working with NEC, JCT and/or FIDIC contracts.
- Enjoy building strong client relationships and delivering commercial advice.
- Thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
