Class 1 (Cat C+E) HGV Driver – Whistl Bristol

We are looking for reliable, professional drivers to join our team and be part of a supportive, people‑first working environment with real long‑term opportunities.

As a Whistl HGV Driver, you’ll be responsible for transporting goods on pre‑planned, designated routes, representing the Whistl brand and delivering exceptional service with every journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain HGV vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Ensure the timely and secure delivery of goods to designated locations.
• Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and promptly.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues.

Working Hours

42 hours guaranteed per week. Overtime is paid after 42 hours.

Day shift (Monday to Friday) starts around 10 am.

Requirements

• A valid Class 1 (Cat C+E) licence and CPC qualification (cost of renewals covered by Whistl).
• Digital tachograph card.
• Excellent driving record with no major violations or accidents and strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
• Ability to handle physical demands.
• Good communication skills to quickly understand instructions and liaise effectively with colleagues and customers.
• Exceptional time‑management and organisational skills.
