The Role
This is a strategically important hire responsible for building and scaling a distribution function from the ground up.
You will develop and execute a commercial strategy to create a new revenue stream, sourcing third party products, developing supplier relationships and leveraging existing customer channels. The role will focus on margin generation, commercial model development and long term value creation rather than volume alone.
Working closely with senior leadership, you will help shape the future direction of the business and play a key role in delivering mid to long term growth targets.
Skills / Experience Needed
- Strong background in distribution, trading or merchanting
- Proven experience buying and selling third party products
- Track record of delivering margin growth in competitive markets
- Commercially astute with experience building or scaling revenue streams
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate autonomously
- Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and influencing strategy
- Experience within chemicals or related sectors is essential.
